About the Course:
This course is suitable for company sponsored employees or others who are interested to upgrade and further develop their skills and techniques used in Fashion Jewellery Making. Trainees will learn to create beautiful fashion jewellery pieces with high quality Swarovski/Preciosa/Czech Crystal Beads and other sustainable materials like Japanese Beads, Artistic Wire, Cords etc. This course is made up of 5 modules, trainees will be required to complete 13 projects in 10 sessions (estimate 26 hours) and Assessement is not compulsory.
Course Modules:
Module 1 : Wirework Jewellery
Module 2 : Crochet Jewellery
Module 3 : Knotting Jewellery
Module 4 : Weaving Jewellery
Module 5 : Stitching Jewellery
+ Assessment test on design and Application (Optional)
Course Available Days and Timing
Tuesdays : 11.30am or 2.30pm
Thursdays : 11.30am or 2.30pm or 7pm
Saturdays : 11.30am
Total 10 sessions :
2 sessions are compulsory on Saturdays
Rest of the 8 sessions: can be arranged on Tuesdays, Thursdays or Saturdays
We offer flexibility for you to arrange your preferred course dates/timing with us on the stated days above (on a first come first serve basis). Pre-arrangement is required . Trainees will be able to complete all modules in about 10 sessions (Average time per session : 2-2.5hours , except crochet/weaving will take 4 hours to complete).
Terms and Conditions
Trainees will be presented a Certificate only upon successful completion of all modules and passing the required assessment. However, assessment is not compulsory.
How to Register ?
1) Registration can be done at our premise during our operating hours.
2) This course is eligible for SkillsFuture Credit. As this is not a WSQ course, no further subsidies is available. This course is not claimable under Career Transition Credit. Course funding is only available until end of year 2024. Last Registration before 21st Dec 2024. Afterwhich, funding will not be available.
